Sun in Gate 28: What is Worth Fighting For?

The Sun recently entered into Gate 28: The Gameplayer.

Gate 28 fears death. More specifically, it fears life without purpose. It’s greatest fear is that life will end before you know your purpose.

As such, it is stubbornly focused on intuiting which risks will bring meaning and purpose.

It is also a love gate- struggle for love, stubborn love. This isn’t tribal love, this isn’t about bargains, agreement, mutual support. Gate 28 belongs to the knowing circuit, it is about individuality. Our love empowers us towards knowing and experiencing a deeper sense of purpose as individuals.

I know it’s love when I’m willing to fight for it, willing to risk safety and security because it makes me feel alive.

This is balanced by the Earth in Gate 27: Caring. The power of altruism. “The enhancement of the quality and the substance of all activities through caring”. This one is tribal.

We know that life includes struggle- this is why we care for one another. I know the road gets rough, let me hold you and nurture and support you.

Power and influence is transitory, that’s the nature of the game. If all you care about is power and influence, what happens when that fades? What was it all for?

Are you going to step into your power as a true player in this game of life?

Do you know how to PLAY? 😉

This week, perhaps take a moment to meditate on the truth that one day you will die, and so will everybody you know.

Then, ask yourself:

Where is life inviting me to take risks?

What might I be taking too seriously? Not seriously enough?

What is worth fighting for?

What do I actually care about?

Expect the unexpected. 😘

Bri
