Manifestors with defined egos are a rare breed

It is universally true that Manifestors have a deep need for freedom, and a fierce resistance to being controlled in any way.

The Manifestor is not here to ask for permission from others before taking action, but rather to make note of who will be impacted by their actions and simply inform them. This is a strategy to eliminate resistance, and it is also a courtesy.

When you are operating correctly as a Manifestor, others will feel more at ease around you. Your inner peace results in a peaceful impact, which allows others to let their guard down. They will trust you and allow you to do what you respectfully informed them you were going to do, without interfering.

Here’s an important addendum though, that I notice can sometimes be challenging and confusing for Manifestors with defined egos:

Other people have agency in their own lives, and “informing” does not mean telling people what to do without giving them a choice.

Notice I said “sometimes” and not “always”. There are lots of other factors that contribute to this quality, both in regards to design and conditioning… but sometimes, it’s a tough spot. The Manifestor will say, “I informed you! I thought that was how this works! I keep you informed, and you go along with whatever I say!”

Alas, that’s not how it works. When you are operating correctly as yourself, it is more likely that others will trust your leadership and see the value in saying yes to you, because they love your impact and they know that what you provide will be empowering and supportive for them. But they still get a choice.

Yesterday, I gave a Human Design reading for a 3/5 Splenic Manifestor and then I spent the rest of the day with a 4/6 Emotional Manifestor, both were born on the Cross of Rulership. Their personality sun/earths are 26.3/45.3 and 26.4/45.4, respectively.

Gate 26 is the gate of the egoist, and it is the archetypal salesperson. It’s the trickster who is prone to exaggeration, and always looking to improve their work to rest ratio. Gate 45 is the gate of the Gatherer, it is the king/queen at the top of the tribal hierarchy. Both of these Manifestors have heavily defined egos, one with the full 45-21 and the other carrying the 44-26.

The 45-21 Channel of Money is an extremely strong-willed life force that is driven to take initiative and provide for its tribe, as long as it can be in control and have the final say. With this definition it is your nature to take control, but your control only extends as far as it does not infringe upon the rights of others.

The 44-26 Channel of Surrender is the instinct for what people need, and the ability to manipulate them into buying that. When you are operating with integrity, people actually enjoy being sold to and manipulated by you because they trust you and they can feel it’s actually in their best interest. When your not-self is running you, you can have a tendency to try and manipulate others based on what your ego wants from them, instead of supporting what’s actually best for them.

Are you a Manifestor with a defined ego? Do you have one of these creatures in your life? If this sparked any questions or insights, I’d love to hear about it in the comments.
